Chapter 105:

“Well, there is a lot of them,” I whispered to Kayda, looking deeper in the cave where the blue troll king is sitting on his thrown of gems with a lot of trolls around him.

“What do you mean 57 trolls and 1 troll king is t that many,” Kayda whispered back with sarcasm.

“Maybe for you, but I really don’t think I can kill all of them and the troll king.”

“That might be so, but what if we let your ice magic go out of control?”

“That won’t be able to kill the troll king, though. Not that I have enough mana to do what you want me to do.” I said, looking at all the tunnels that joined the ‘throne room’ of the troll king.

“You do have enough mana, and I know it won’t kill him.”

“To encase the entire room. Kayda, I think you have forgotten something. There will be a backlash for this big of a spell, and I won’t be able to keep the healing and spell intact at the same time.” I said, looking at her seriously.

“I know that is why I will give you my mana to use for the spell but use your own for healing.”

.....

“That might work, but the preparations will take some time,” I said, looking back at the troll king.

“Why is that?”

“Because I am not very good with spells. Especially if it is going to be this big of one,” I said awkwardly.

“So, get started then,” Kayda said, inching me on.

“Yes, ma’am,” I said, nodding before sitting on the ground cross-legged. I closed my eyes.

Feeling Kayda put her hands on my back. I started creating my spell.

Letting my senses go wild, I started to hear and feel the area out.

“Gurh.”

“Girh.”

Hear multiple trolls all around in the tunnels, I started to count them and the distance they were from me.

‘113 trolls in 5 hectares of tunnels. Damn, that’s a lot of ground needing to be covered.’ I thought while expanding my ice 2 meters underground.

“They aren’t that sensitive to mana. You can create it 50cm underground,” Kayda advises.

“Okay,” I said. Doing as she said, I moved the layer of ice upwards closer to the surface.

(2 hours later)

“Sigh, I am done,” I said with excitement, still keeping my eyes close.

“Let a rip then,” Kayda said happily.

“Un.” Doing as she said, I activated my spell.

“Ugh!!”

“Augh!!”

Hearing multiple grunts that didn’t last long before losing their lives, I knew my chains and spikes were doing their job at killing most, if not all, of the trolls.

“Haah haaah, that is so tiring.” I said between pants opening my eyes.

“Good work,” Kayda said, patting my head with a smile.

“I did get some spikes into the troll king but not enough to do a lot of damage. Out of the 113 trolls, only 9 survived but are heavily wounded, so they would bleed out in 5 min or so.” I reported still panting a bit.

“There were so many?” Kayda said, surprised.

“Yeah, just give me some rest, then I will go kill the troll king.”

“You sure you are up for the task,” Kayda said, looking at the troll king in between the impaled trolls and dismantled troll.

“He is a slow troll king, and I hit him in his muscle, so... no, but I have you here to save my butt if needed,” I said with a smile.

“I will interfere the moment I think you are going to die okay,” Kayda said, nodding in confirmation.

“Thanks, and with my mana full again, I go all out from the beginning,” I said, standing up before stretching my legs out and dusting myself off.

“You better win,” Kayda said, giving me a grin.

“I will try my best,” I said, walking towards the confused troll king. Dispelling all the ice in the cave, all you could hear was thuds from bodies and body parts dropping to the floor.

Looking closely at the troll, you could easily say that he is a higher being than the rest, with his body double the size of the other and having a blue crown on his head. Appearance-wise he looked the same as the other trolls but just bigger.

“Ghu, what happened to my people!” The troll king yelled, seeing me walking up to him.

“They died. What else,” I said, shrugging.

“Did you do this?” The troll

“Who knows,” I said, taking out the set of chakrams.

“You will pay-ugh!” Trying to run at me, he suddenly felt a pain coming from his right leg. Looking down, he saw small ice spikes stabbing him in the back of his knee.

“Oh, you only found them now?” I said with a disappointed expression.

“RAaaagh!!” Shouting in anger, he charged at me, raising his hand trying to grab me.

“No weapon?” I said, confused, grabbing two chakrams. I threw them at him expecting to do at least some damage.

Clunk Clunk.

Contrary to my expectations, the chakrams just bounce of him like I was throwing sticks at a wall.

“Wha-” not having any time to ask what happened, I jumped up, dodging the troll’s charge.

“Ragh, die!” Turning around, I bring down his at the spot I should land, only to see me appeared on his shoulder with my fist drawn.

“let’s see how long your defense can hold up,” I said, hitting him in the eye.

“Raagh.” Flaring his hands around, making me jump off him.

“So, your defense isn’t 100%. That’s why my spikes hit you so easily,” I mumbled bring the chakrams closer to me. Spinning my hand in a circle, all 6 chakrams started slowly spinning anti-clockwise. “This is going to take everything I have.”

“Raugh!!” Shouting again, the troll ran towards me.

‘I can’t run around like that too much. My mana won’t hold up, and I still need to control the chakrams. Haaah, why am I making this so hard for myself.’ I thought, looking at the troll before taking a defensive stance.

“Let’s begin!” I yelled, creating a body-size shield with two spikes in the bottom in my right hand and a bastard sword in my left.

Slamming the shield into the ground, braising for the impact.

Bang!

Seeing small cracks appear on the shield, I fixed it while pulling the shield out of the ground.

“You are definitely as strong as a high orc,” I said, swinging my sword at his hand.

Clunk!

“Aah fuck I should have known,” I said, feeling the sword bounce off the troll’s hand. Bringing up the shield again, I barely managed to block the troll’s second punch.

“Ugh!” Not blocking the impact properly, I was sent tumbling in the ground.

“Ghahaha.” Hearing the troll laugh, I looked up, seeing him walk up to me slowly.

“What? You think that was enough to win against me.” I said, annoyed with multiple tick marks. Flash stepping a few meters away, I swapped out the shield and sword for brass knuckles. looking at the troll, I grin before adding. “You are a tough guy, right? I about we put that to the test.”

“Ugh.” Grunting in pain and confusion at the sudden hit on his right cheek. He went on reflexes swinging his left arm up to his shoulder.

“You too slow,” I said from his left shoulder.

“Raugh!” Roaring in frustration at me jumping around him, he started spinning around while flaring his hands everywhere.

“He might be a troll king, but he is as dumb as an ant,” I said, appearing a few meters away from him with the 6 chakrams still spinning in the air ten times the speed it originally was spinning at.

“Raaaagh!!” Shouting in anger, seeing me standstill again, he charged at me.

Seeing his actions, I smirked at the troll king before disappearing from my position. Appearing in front of the troll king’s mouth, I grabbed his giant teeth before kicking the troll in the bottom of his nose, breaking his nasal bone, and sending it into his head.

“Guagh!!” Shouting in pain, he shook his head, trying to get me to let go.

Putting both feet on his upper teeth, I pulled his canine teeth towards me.

“Fuck you. I am the tooth fairy now!!” I yelled just before the teeth snapped.

Snap!

Snap!

Hearing the teeth break, I instantly jumped off the troll taking the teeth with me.

“Hey, keep the teeth. We can trade it in for money!” I heard Kayda shouted with excitement.

.....

“Okay,” I said, putting the teeth in my dimensional storage. Looking at the chakrams in the air, I grin before disappearing and reappear next to the troll’s right knee.

Hitting his kneecap, the troll grunted in confusion, looking down at me, not feeling any pain from my lunch.

‘Of course, you won’t feel any pain. I am hitting you, kneecap idiot.’ I thought, looking up at the troll.

“Raagh!” Bring his hands upwards to slammed down on me. Contrary to his expectation of me disappearing, I looked up at him with a massive grin.

“Got you,” I said, moving my hand forward, making all the chakrams move in mid-air aimed at his armpits.

Slash!

Slash!

Not even a second later, 3 deep holes appear on both arms pits.

“Aaagh!?” Shouting in pain, his arms feel down to his sides, powerless.

“Not done,” I said, appearing at his back, sending the chakrams towards his knees.

Slash

Slash

Again 3 deep holes appear on both knees, making him fall to the ground.

Disappearing again, I appeared in front of his face sending the chakrams, this time aimed for his eyes.

Slash!

Slash!

“Aaugh!” Again, another agonizing shout came out of the now blind troll.

“Now, you won’t be able to move for some time,” I said, moving away from him in case something happens.

‘I might have hurt the thing a lot, but I don’t think I have enough power to kill it.’ I thought, looking at the troll shouting in pain.

“Actually, I might be able to kill him,” I mumbled to myself, making some ice bombs in both hands. Walking up to his mouth, I threw all the bombs into his mouth down his thought.

“See, yeah,” I said, looking at the troll before snapping my fingers.
