After the Demon’s departure, time continued to pass without any further events.

Everything seemed to be running normally as if nothing had happened.

indicate they could continue their activities.

“It’s good to see you, Alpha king, but why are you here?” Jose asked, confused as he approached the

king.

I just glanced over with a long sigh, not knowing how to explain it to him.

“He just wants to not worry too much about his mate who is only counting the days before giving birth”

The words that his former beta said were very true and made him just roll his eyes because he was

annoyed at being caught by him.

Yes, but he’s so right, Gwen snapped at me because you were getting more and more nervous and

worried about her, so she doesn’t want to get close to me right now because of that.

Sighed….

Why doesn’t everyone understand my feelings? I thought annoyed and undressed to think a little

sparring and practice seemed like the thing I needed right now.

Everyone looked surprised to see me wanting to join them for training.

3 hours later everyone was groaning in exhaustion and pain, even Jose and Drake were still shaking

their heads at me after the training I had given everyone.

“What?” I asked my two members.

“Training is over, thank you all!!!” Jose shouted to everyone who immediately bowed respectfully to the

three of us before running quickly to leave the field.

Drake handed me a small towel “You” He sighed “Can’t you remember that these guys are still young?

You keep training them like that, they’ll run away and it’ll be troublesome, you know?” he grumbled in

annoyance while Jose just laughed.

“Let them be, so that they become stronger” Jose said casually and Drake could only roll his eyes in

annoyance at the two of us being united in this.

We were joking and talking, when someone I knew very well contacted me through Mind–Link.

I immediately stood transfixed and focused on what he said.

‘My king, the queen slipped in the bathroom and is currently in labor!”

That was all I needed to immediately dart away leaving behind the two men I was with who quickly

followed suit and ran with me to my mate’s room.

‘Oh no.. Oh no.. Oh no.. Gwen… Iris…”

Those were the words I kept saying in my head, worried and terrified that something would happen to

them.



Within minutes I looked at the door to my mate’s room and there were already a few members standing

there looking worried.

I quickly opened the door to hear my mate’s screams of pain that nearly broke my heart.

“Gwen” I quickly ran to grab her hand, and tried not to look at the blood that was pouring out of her.

“Titus? It hurts.” She whined and I just kissed her forehead while hugging her head, trying to give her

my strength.

Oh God….

‘Please God, Moon Goddess… Help her, help my mate‘ I said a prayer for my mate and almost shed

tears seeing her in pain like this.

“Yep, looks like we have to act soon, the baby is about to come out” The doctor said and startled me.

Oh no…

There should still have been a few days before labor was due, but because of the accident, the baby

fought to get out of the mother’s womb, something that could have killed the mother if she had not

acted immediately because the child’s strength was excessive and she was too ripe to be born into the

world.

“You’ll be fine, baby… you’ll be fine” I kept saying that over and over again, as if to reassure myself and

not my mate.

Please God, don’t let anything bad happen to her and my child.

I beg you to save them, I would give anything for them to be okay, I said to myself as I continued to

hold the hand of my mate who began to do her job in delivering our baby.


