Jaylene said, "It's okay, Keegan. Kids are like that. It's been so long since we last met; she must be shy." Saying this, she took out a box from her bag and handed it to Coco. "Coco, I brought you a gift. Hope you like it." As she spoke, she opened the box.

Inside was a beautiful butterfly hairpin, sparkling with exquisite gemstones, obviously quite valuable.

However, Coco didn't show much interest in the beautiful hairaccessory like other girls her age would. She just glanced at it and looked away, showing little enthusiasm. "So ugly," she muttered softly, causing Jaylene's smile to freeze on her face.

Keegan slammed his hand on the table. "When someone gives you a gift, what do you say? Have you forgotten everything I taught you?" Coco clenched her fists and didn't speak, looking stubborn.

Keegan's gaze darkened, his anger growing. "Cat got your tongue? Speak!"

Jaylene hurriedly intervened, "Forget it, Keegan. Kids say the darndest things, but Coco's temperament is really becoming more like Stella's- straightforward and outspoken." Stella was struck speechless.
